Hedge Cutting
We recommend cutting hedges once a year to keep them in great shape and maintain their size. Conifers are a great way to create a fast screen but if they aren’t maintained properly they can block alot of sunlight from entering your property. People often are confused about cutting hedges in bird nesting season (1 March-April), but you can carry out hedge cutting as long as there is no breeding activity. Before carrying out any work during bird nesting season we complete an observation from a distance and directly search the hedge to make sure there are no nests present. For larger sites we use the help of an ecologist to complete the observations.
